On 1 January 2008, the Government introduced Packaging tax. One of the aims of this tax is to reduce waste originating from environmentally-harmful packaging by imposing a high packaging tax on these types of packaging. A lower packaging tax is imposed on environmentally-friendly packaging which means that you save money with these products!
